Summer is here and I have been making a lot of Nautical things. I had planned this project for earlier in the week, but had to catch up on everything else first. I am happy to report that I am almost caught up, I just have a little gardening left to do! However, I am totally confused. I am linking my project to the challenge over on the City Crafter Challenge Blog, the last time I waited until midnight on Sunday-Monday, the challenge had closed. I checked a little bit ago and it says it is closing on Monday-Tuesday, midnight! Just to be safe, this is going in before midnight, but if you want to play, you might still have time!
There are lots of photo's as I made a pocket for tags and three tags. First my pocket, the paper is digital and I used the digital ship stamp that is the same as the set I have been using. I stamped all sorts of sea life and the shells you see at the bottom. I also added flags, sea shells that I have picked up on previous trips to the beach. There is a piece of used rope, and a sort of mesh that looks like netting and some bakers twine. The sea and sky have been colored in by rubbing inks, one of my favorite ways to color. My packet was made by sewing a folded piece of card stock on either side.
The three tags have the same theme, all just a little different, some better than others. I stamped the ship this time, only using digital paper, scraps from the pocket!
These are nice size tags and would make nice bookmarks! Well, I am in time this week. I really loved the theme. I hope your Sunday was as nice as mine...however, mine was much to busy. I only have two flowers beds to finish up. I waited too late this year to get started. Have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by for a visit!
