Today is the last day to hop over on the Spring Coffee Loves Blog . As the hours have faded while I worked, I could only think of how much fun I have had! I have been inspired by all the entries and everything that has been put into making this event successful! I want to thank Amy and Chaitale for all the hard work and Amy for being such a presence this past week! When last I looked, there were 462 projects linked up...that is amazing!
I worked early into the morning on Friday and again Friday afternoon through to midnight where I am. Thank goodness I live in the central time zone, that left me two hours to spare to write my post. I made a Spring Hop Coffee, Tea Lovers Banner. I was forced to take pictures with not enough light, but will retake tomorrow. since my husband had to help me hang it and he had to go to bed, I am redoing the stringing...I think with cord. I don't have time to do it as I still have an order of tags to make tonight! It has been an amazingly busy week, I will enjoy a little more time for rest this next week.
So, the banner...I made 6 of these flags...It says Coffee...Tea...You..& Me...Coffee..Tea. I will try and get a good one in the morning of the whole banner. It stretches 5 ft across and the banners are 5 x 7...so good size! I did not have time to make different cups although I do have different papers already cut. I used card stock for the flag, a digital Map(all digital images are MDS), A digital cup, printed on designer papers and paper pieced, a globe digitally printed, fussy cut and inked by hand, a hand stamped flower, fussy cut, a die cut, hand stamped garden stake and leaves hand stamped, fussy cut and glued! Each banner was machine stitched, eyelets added and for the present it is strung on yellow ribbon. I love how the pieces turned out.
I know this is not everyone's style, but I had fun making it and I usually go on to make an even better project after completing the first! Have a wonderful Saturday, thanks for all your comments and I truly loved getting to see everyone's many projects and visit your blogs! See you next time!
*Full finished PHOTO of the garland will be up as soon as it is light enough to get a good photo!*
