When a friend has a birthday, it is always nice to acknowledge is with a card. So this card is made for you, Kirsty, a very dear blog friend. Kirsty's blog is Handmade Little Things, her shop is Pixie Dust Paperie, and the place I first met her is the City Crafter Challenge Blog, home to great challenges. So please go by each link and leave her some Birthday Wishes.
The card I made today is fun, and uses a couple of items that I got from Kirsty'sshop, the ribbon and the Tim Holtz button. The designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket, DeLovely, the doily...Yellow Bicycle, Baja Breeze and black card stock...Stampin'Up!, tiny buttons(unknown), bakers twine..Etsy, and the cup cake die..Sizzix from Stampin'Up!. My card base is Certainly Celery matted with the hot pink dsp. I added a doily, a black circle(Colluzle cut), topped that with the cup cake I cute out using the sizzlits. My cup cake base was embossed with a brassy dots plate and the hot pink dots were cut out using the sizzlit. I free cut my flag and stamped it with Happy Birthday.
Kirsty, I hope you have a wonderful birthday, full of happiness and joy. Hope you enjoy the card, it is in the mail, sorry it will arrive late! Thanks for being a wonderful blog friend, wishing you many more wonderful birthdays. Hugs, Sylvia!
